    CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF SUPPORT – See Pat for refund. A day trip to the British Ironworks Centre near Oswestry (SY11 4JH). Coach from WVH - leaving by 10am, returning for 4.30-5pm. See Jean for more details. Although this sounds like a metal factory it is anything but! It is a very large sculpture park with hundreds of exhibits made from metallic parts.     After our successes at the 2023 Cheshire Show we imagine that we shall be putting the final touches to our display and entries. The show dates for 2024 are 18th and 19th June so all being well we shall be at Tabley showground in June.

  • NFWI AGM

    In 2024 the NFWI AGM is being held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June 5th. Your President is going as a delegate, representing Whitley and two other Cheshire WIs but there are Observer tickets available. If you are interested then please contact Susan Lynch for more details. There is also the opportunity to follow proceedings on Zoom - this option is free of charge! The shortlist of resolutions is in December’s WI Life. More details next month of a meeting at Whitley to discuss these further before voting in February.
