On the 12th December, walkers met at Ann O’Brien’s house where she had prepared a hearty breakfast for us all before we set off in the snow for our walk round Runcorn Hill Park.
It was a cold and frosty morning but the sun was shining, so everywhere looked picturesque. Ducks were sliding on the frozen lake, and the slippery terrain did not deter us from venturing into the woods in our quest to reach Runcorn Hill. We were not disappointed when we reached the top, and took in the stunning views across the water. On our way back we made our way to the welcoming little café in the park for lunch. Another memorable walk, led by our super leader Ann.
