Four strangers met in the queue, each with their own reasons for being there, and each facing issues in their personal lives. They got to know each other as they queued and walked past many significant landmarks in London and established a good relationship with each other that we agree would continue &#8211; everybody enjoyed the book, an interesting light read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walking Group<\/strong> &#8211; Several ladies joined the walk for this month in the wonderful sunshine along the paths of Beechwood skirting the main train line heading south. The blossom on the trees where spectacular along the route. We headed through a little estate in Sutton Weaver where a few people where out in their gardens getting on with jobs in the lovely weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:36% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whitleywi.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/walk-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10663 size-full\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.whitleywi.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/walk-768x1025.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.whitleywi.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/walk-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.whitleywi.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/walk-112x150.jpg 112w, http:\/\/www.whitleywi.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/walk.jpg 907w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><br>We entered Clough Wood where the floor was carpeted with wild garlic ready to come out with the bluebells having to take second place.  Before passing the duck pond we stopped for a photo then made our way along the rather muddy path at the  top of garlic wood back into beechwood, winding our way along the path to the Community Centre coffee shop for our lunch which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
